Do you have an empty property in Cheshire and Warrington? We’d love to help
6th November 2018
There approximately 300 long-term empty properties in Warrington. We don’t think that’s right, particularly as there is a housing shortage. So we’re doing something about it.
Our ‘cosy home campaign’ is the brain child of new lettings director Gerry Mason-Rolls. She wants landlords with Gerry explained:
“ When a property is lived in over winter it benefits from regular heating, keeping the pipework running and the home aired and healthy. There’s also much less chance of attracting anti-social behaviour and criminal damage, so it’s a benefit to the whole neighbourhood.
With a property deficit in the area there really shouldn’t be a need for homes to be empty. In fact we’ve noticed a recent increase in demand for quality rental homes, with 90% of our first viewings resulting in lets and tenants waiting for availability.
We’re appealing to landlords with empty properties to get in touch so that we can match them with our list of tenants who want to be in by Christmas, or look to purchase their property so that we can get them back in use”.
As part of the service landlord properties will receive a free winter health check, ensuring they are ready, safe and secure.
