It’s time to get cosy.
12th September 2019
Autumn is a busy time for anyone in the property industry. It’s a time where students move into their student accommodation with armfuls of shiny new bedding, pans and pot noodles, excited for their future.
In property sales, the industry picks up after a slow summer, with couples and families eagerly searching out a new pad in time for the promise of their first Christmas in their new home.
The crisp air is natures warning to cosy up for the winter. For some, it’ll be a reminder of an uncomfortable last winter, so could be the prompt they need to move on, or commit to home improvements.
Whether you’re renting or a home owner, home maintenance should be top of your list whilst the weather remains bright and relatively dry. It’s time to check the boiler works efficiently, to check the smoke alarms and to keep on top of the leaf fall that threatens to clog the guttering and drainpipes, and time to ensure that properties have new tenants in them before they become at risk of damp or neglected.
At James Peacock Property we’re thinking too of all our renovation projects, we’ve purchased several houses over the summer that were suffering from neglect, and we’re bringing them back to life. We start by taking them right back to bare brick and then rebuild them with beautiful bathrooms and kitchens, creating homes that will last for the next generation.
Our property team also take on the maintenance of all our landlord properties. Removing the stress and strain of DIY, and getting a professional job done with assurance.
So here’s to an optimistic, productive and positive outlook for Autumn 2019, whatever 31 October delivers.
If you’re interested in finding out more about our landlord support services, get in touch, I’ll happily chat through the options with no obligation.
